The Italian football player Rolando Mandragora missed a game because of blasphemy. The Serie A locked the 21-year-old from the first division Udinese Calcio after viewing video footage for "blasphemous remarks".

Mandragora had cursed during the game against Sampdoria Genoa last weekend (1-0). "Porca Madonna, Vaffanculo, Dio Cane," he cried, an insult to the Virgin Mary and God. The reason for the outbreak was a parade of Sampdoria keeper Emil Audero.

The referees did not get it, while studying the TV pictures was read from the lips. There was "no doubt" in the investigation, the series A said. Since 2010, such offenses can be punished in Italy.
