Tugukhov was suspended from combat due to participation in the riots that were fought after the fight between Nurmagomedov and Irishman Conor MacGregor. Tuhugov climbed over the octagon fence and attacked the Irish.

He did not agree with the punishment of Tukhugov, stating that both members of the Nurmagomed’s team and representatives of McGregor participated in the riots.
“In any case, so punish me, what have Zubayr to do with it?” Said Nurmagomedov.
The Russian cited as evidence a videotape, which shows that McGregor first began to beat Tuhugov.
“If you still decide to fire him, then do not forget to send me a broken contract, otherwise I will tear it up myself,” added Nurmagomedov.
