Nordic World Ski Championships: Eric Frenzel is World Champion Combination

It is his sixth title - and perhaps the most surprising: Eric Frenzel has prevailed at the Nordic World Ski Championships against strong competition.



The German Nordic Combined Eric Frenzel has won his sixth world title in the title fights in Seefeld. The 30-year-old won after a jump from the large hill in Innsbruck and a ten-kilometer run ahead of Jan Schmid from Norway and the Austrian Franz-Josef Rehrl. Frenzel thus ensured the first German medal at this World Cup.
