The lawyer said that the actions of Kokorin can be qualified only in accordance with the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Beat".
He admitted that there was a conflict between a football player and an official, during which Pak repeatedly offensively insulted Kokorin, who in turn struck one blow to him.
Popov added that the Zenit forward was no longer involved in the incidents that occurred on October 8.
The lawyer also refuted Kokorin’s criminal conspiracy with other parties to the conflict. According to Popov, the video confirms that the incident occurred suddenly.
