The Bundesliga teams can be satisfied with the draw for the Champions League group stage. Especially the Bayern and Schalke 04 caught supposedly easy opponents.
The Munich meet in Group E on Benfica Lisbon, Ajax Amsterdam and AEK Athens. Schalke gets to do it in Group D with Lokomotiv Moscow, FC Porto and Galatasaray Istanbul.
It will be a bit more difficult for Borussia Dortmund. BVB play in Group A against Atlético Madrid, AS Monaco and Club Bruges.
To an interesting duel it comes in Group F: There Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann meets Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola. The other opponents of 1899 are Shakhtar Donetsk and Olympique Lyon.
Especially group C should be exciting. They play Paris Saint Germain, SSC Naples, Liverpool FC and Red Star Belgrade. Jürgen Klopp, who was in the final with the Reds last season, meets with his successor at BVB: Thomas Tuchel. The 45-year-old trained since this season, the French top club PSG.
