April 20 marks the 70th anniversary of the legendary striker Alexander Maltsev. The hockey player began his sports career in 1966 in his native Kirov-Chepetsk, Kirov Region, but already in the next season he moved to Dynamo Moscow, where he spent most of his career. As a member of the USSR national team, nine times he became a world champion and twice - a triumphant of the Olympic Games - in 1972 and 1976. Maltsev - national team record holder in the number of matches played and goals scored. After graduation, he worked as a mentor of the Dynamo youth team.
