- Impressions are the most beautiful, because children play. Holding such international youth tournaments always benefits our children's football. The younger generation must develop in a competitive environment. For this purpose, such competitions are held, in which to achieve success, one must make maximum efforts. In general, the tournament was a success.
- But Lokomotiv, with which you twice became the champion of Russia, took only the fifth place ...
- Yes, only this moment was sad. Last year, the railway workers were able to win. But now there is something to strive for. There will be another tournament, although teams will come to him who want to win.

- Can we take as a consolation the fact that Lokomotiv lost only to two finalists?
- In principle, yes, nothing terrible happened, we lost 0: 1 to Sparta and Yokohama. It was not a rout, the team still has everything ahead. In any case, such tournaments should be held in order to compare the level of training, exchange experiences. I think for every coach there is a big plus to be here, it will do good.
- Was it possible to see the future stars of football now?
- In the final I noticed that the Czech team was more powerful, with strong guys. They reminded me of Ian Koller, who at one time played against the "Locomotive" for the Dortmund "Borussia". Probably, from the players of "Sparta" will grow the same good players. And the Japanese I liked the organization, technology, a lot of good qualities.
