As of 7:10 a.m., power was out for approximately 13,460 households in Monbetsu City, approximately 3,040 households in Oumu Town, and approximately 2,640 households in Okoppe Town.
Hokkaido Electric Power Co. is investigating the cause and proceeding with restoration work.
