According to JAXA, the building where the outer wall was peeled off is the rocket assembly building at the Tanegashima Space Center in Minamitane Town, Kagoshima Prefecture.



The height of the building is 81 meters, and the rocket is stored here for inspection and maintenance.

In the building, the first unit of the new rocket "H3" currently under development and the H2A rocket No. 47 are stored, and JAXA is investigating the detailed situation such as whether there is any impact on the aircraft.



Tanegashima entered the storm zone of the typhoon on the morning of the 18th, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed was 34.6 meters at 11:30 am on the 18th and 24.5 meters at 12:25 am on the 19th.
