Due to the impact of the earthquake, the JR Joban Line was suspended from operating immediately after the earthquake on the up and down lines between Otsuko Station in Kita-Iwaki City, Iwaki Prefecture and Tomioka Station in Tomioka Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Operation resumed at 3:10 pm on the up and down lines between Minato Station and Iwaki Station in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture.
The up and down lines between Iwaki Station and Tomioka Station continue to suspend operation.
