Shortly after the Great East Japan Earthquake, 11 years ago, an event was held in Tennoji Ward, Osaka, to convey the charm of Fukushima Prefecture in an attempt to eliminate the reputational damage caused by the nuclear accident.

The event was held at the lawn plaza of Tennoji Park in Tennoji Ward, Osaka, commonly known as "Tenshiba".

At the booth set up in Tamakawa Village, Fukushima Prefecture, locally grown vegetables and juices were sold.

A man who bought a arguta juice said, "I love Fukushima, and when I learned about the Great East Japan Earthquake, I cried even when I was in Osaka. I think that consuming local products will help support me." I was there.

In addition, at the booth in Shirakawa City, a painting experience of the special product "Shirakawa Daruma" was held, and it was crowded with children.

The 4-year-old boy who experienced it said, "I asked you to have a good and enjoyable time," and the mother in her thirties said, "I think it's a good opportunity to experience the culture of Fukushima."

Mr. Daishi Nakami, Counselor of the Reconstruction Agency, said, "Fukushima has some parts that are not progressing as expected due to reputational damage. I want you to know that there are attractive agricultural products and tourist spots."
