On the afternoon of the 17th, at Hirado Ohashi, a suspension bridge connecting the mainland side of Kyushu and Hirado Island in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, there was an accident in which a truck was hit by a strong typhoon and touched a guard fence on the side of the road.

Due to this accident, Hirado Ohashi was temporarily closed.

After 1:30 pm, the truck driver reported to the police that the truck could not run due to strong winds at the suspension bridge, Hirado Ohashi, where National Highway 383 in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture passes.



According to police, the truck was hit by a strong typhoon and had an accident in contact with a guard rail on the side of the road.



No one was injured in the accident.



Due to the impact of this accident, the Hirado Bridge was closed to traffic, but the work to remove the accident vehicle proceeded and the road closure was lifted at 4:20 pm.
