Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, issued an evacuation order to 24,303 households and 54,585 people throughout the city at 7:25 pm because of the risk of sediment-related disasters due to heavy rain.
Of the five alert levels, alert level 4 information calls for everyone to evacuate from dangerous areas.
