According to Hiroshima Prefecture, the Mitsugi River, which flows through Onomichi City, exceeded the flood risk level at 6:50 pm at the City Observatory.
The Mitsugi River also exceeds the "flooding danger water level" at the Marumadoda Observatory upstream.
Hiroshima Prefecture is calling for actions to ensure safety, saying that the water level may rise in the future.
