Big earthquake in Aleutian Magnitude 8.1 Tsunami under investigation

According to a contact from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii to the Japan Meteorological Agency, there was a large magnitude 8.1 earthquake with an epicenter near the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, USA, at around 3:16 pm on the 29th of Japan time.

The Japan Meteorological Agency is investigating whether the earthquake will have an impact on Japan.
