Heavy rains are affecting the delivery of courier services in the Chugoku region.

Of these, Yamato Transport has delayed delivery of packages in all areas of Hiroshima, Tottori, Shimane, and Yamaguchi prefectures.

In addition, in these areas, when we receive luggage from users, we accept it after refusing that "delivery may be delayed".

On the other hand, Sagawa Express has not delayed delivery so far.

Each company wants you to check the latest situation on the homepage etc.

Due to heavy rain, Japan Post has suspended window operations at 65 post offices in the Chugoku region.

Of these, there are 59 locations in Hiroshima Prefecture, including Hiroshima City, Mihara City, and Onomichi City, and 6 locations in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture.

In addition, there are delays in the delivery of mail and Yu-Pack throughout the Chugoku and Kyushu regions, and depending on future rain conditions, delays may occur in other regions as well.

Post offices that are out of service are posted on the Japan Post website.

To ensure the safety of its employees, Mazda will suspend operations at its head office factory in Hiroshima prefecture and Hofu factory in Yamaguchi prefecture on the 8th, and will cancel the scheduled night shift.

We also issued a notice to prevent employees who work outside the factory, such as the head office, from going to work, such as by switching to working from home.

The operation after the 9th will be decided based on the future rain conditions.
