About 130 houses were damaged by the debris flow that occurred on July 3 in the Izusan district of Atami City, and seven people were confirmed dead by the 7th.

In prefectures and cities, the names of people who seemed to have lived in the district based on the Basic Resident Register and whose safety could not be confirmed, or those who received information from the police were announced and requested to provide information. 7 Two people were confirmed safe on the day, but the whereabouts of 25 people are still unknown.

At the scene, police, fire departments, the Self-Defense Forces, etc. continue to search with 1,700 people while narrowing down the area such as the area where the houses of people whose whereabouts are unknown were washed away, but Shizuoka Prefecture is occasionally strong from the 8th to the 9th. It is expected that it will rain, and it is expected that the activities will be carried out while being wary of secondary disasters.

Water outage continues over a wide area

In Izusan, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where the debris flow occurred, water outages continued over a wide area, forcing the residents who remain at home to live inconveniently.

Atami is a Izusan followed by a water outage at approximately 1100 units corresponding to almost half of the time the contract number of units of the district of the water supply in the 7 days, the prospect of recovery does not have standing.

Of these, Naomi Tada (84), who lives alone in the Nakamichi district, about 1 km away from the debris flow site, uses it for toilets while saving the water brought from the water supply station and the water stored in the bath.

Mr. Tada said, "I'm really scared if the same thing happens again, and I'm worried because I don't know when it will recover."

A water supply station has been set up in the public hall in the Nakamichi district, and elderly people have been gathering for water since the morning of the 7th. I heard that I can't enter. Everyone is doing their best, so I think it's unavoidable and I'll do my best. "

According to the neighborhood association in the Nakamichi district, there are 230 households living in the district, and there are houses where power outages and gas are stopped, but how many people are left at home and relief supplies are sufficient. Perhaps because they are not able to grasp the overall situation, residents are calling for investigation and support by the government.
