Ten years before the Great East Japan Earthquake, rescue training was held in Saitama City on the assumption that people were left behind in a car in an attempt to strengthen measures such as saving lives in the event of a disaster.

This training was conducted by the Saitama Prefectural Police Omiya Police Station jointly with a car purchasing company in Saitama City, and about 50 people participated.

The training was conducted on the assumption that a person was left behind in the car due to a disaster, etc., and when the police officer who participated broke the window of the car with a rescue tool and went inside, he put a doll that looked like an injured person on a stretcher. I was evacuating to a safe place.

The Omiya Police Station has signed an agreement with the company that participated in the training to have a tow truck provided in the event of a disaster, and if the vehicle is blocking the road at the time of the disaster, it will be removed using the provided tow truck.

Harumasa Ikoda, chief of the Omiya police station, said, "It has been 10 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, and a big earthquake struck just the other day. I would like to strengthen cooperation with related organizations and make every effort to tackle disaster countermeasures." I was talking.
