According to the Minami Uonuma City Fire Department in Niigata Prefecture, a man in his 80s living in Minami Uonuma City fell off the stairs at home when he tried to evacuate immediately after the earthquake and injured his head.
He was taken to the hospital, but he was conscious and there was nothing wrong with his life.
