Typhoon No. 10 suspension of operations on the JR conventional line in Oita prefecture, partly restarted from 12:35 on September 8

JR conventional lines in Oita Prefecture, which had been suspended due to Typhoon No. 10, have resumed operation on some routes where safety was confirmed from the first train on the 8th.

JR Oita Station, where commuters and other people returned, was crowded from the morning.

Due to the effect of typhoon No. 10, JR Kyushu had been suspended on all conventional lines in the prefecture from the afternoon of the 6th, but restarted on some routes from the first train on the 8th, and at JR Oita station, commute to work. The appearance of school attendants returned and was crowded from the morning.



A man in his 50s in Kitakyushu who said he was going home would say, "I was actually planning to go home yesterday, but I was in trouble because the train didn't move. I'm really happy to restart today."



Also, the commercial facility directly connected to the station was temporarily closed on the 7th, but it resumed business on the 8th, and many people visited for shopping.



According to JR, as of 9:30 am, some parts of the Nitou Main Line, Hisadai Main Line, and Hohi Main Line have been suspended from operation.



JR wants to restart the operation within 8 days even for the section where the operation is suspended.
