Prepared for heavy rain of typhoon No. 10 Drainage pump car on Niyodo River Embankment Kochi Tosa September 4 17:16

In preparation for the heavy rain caused by Typhoon No.10, a drainage pump truck was installed on the embankment of the Niyodo River in Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture.

This was done by Kochi River National Highway Office and Tosa City to prevent flooding of the irrigation canals that flow through the city of Tosa City due to heavy rain associated with the approach of Typhoon No. 10.

In order to drain the water from the irrigation canal to the Niyodo River, two pump trucks were installed on the embankment near the upstream, and the staff put a hose for drainage and put a pump that sucked water into the water.

When the preparations were completed, the power of the pump car was actually turned on and the procedure for draining water from the irrigation canal to the Niyodo River was being confirmed.

This means that the two pump cars can drain 30 tons each minute.

It means that the Kochi River National Highway Office has deployed pump cars in Ino Town and Hidaka Village upstream of the Niyodo River.

Naoto Tada, director of the Kochi River National Highway Office, said, “I haven't been able to stay alert this time because the local governments in the basin of the Niyodo River have been flooded in the past. I was talking."
