Approximately 58,000 households in Nagasaki Prefecture suffered a power outage Typhoon No. 9 (10am, 3rd) 16:50, 3rd September

Due to the effect of Typhoon No.9, power outages have continued in about 58,000 households, which is 6% of the total number in Nagasaki Prefecture.

According to Kyushu Electric Power, there is a wide range of power outages due to typhoons in Nagasaki Prefecture at 10 am on the 3rd.



Of these,


▽Goto City has approximately 17,850 units, which is 53% of the total number of households,


▽Saikai City has

approximately 10,130 units

which is 50% of the


total number of households, and


Approximately 880 units which is 34% of the total number of households in Ojika-cho,

▽ In Shinkamigoto-cho, about 4150 households, which is 25% of the total number of households, continue to have power outages.



In addition,

power outages continue at approximately 12,550 units in


▽ Sasebo City and approximately 3,550 units in


▽ Nagasaki City.



As a result, power outages have continued for approximately 58,000 units, which is 6.4% of the total number of units in the prefecture.



The cause is that the fall of the trees caused by strong winds is said to cause damage such as electric wire disconnection in various parts of the prefecture, and there is currently no prospect of full restoration.



Kyushu Electric Power is calling attention to fallen utility poles and broken electric wires.
