Kumamoto Prefecture

In Kumamoto Prefecture, a special elderly nursing home "Senjuen" in the Wata district of Kuma Village died 14 people due to flooded river water.

Ten other people died in Kuma Village, and the total number of deaths in the village is 24.

Also, 19 people died in Hitoyoshi, 10 in Ashikita, 5 in Yatsushiro, 3 in Tsunaki, and 2 in Yamaga.

The total number of deaths in Kumamoto Prefecture is 64.
