8:50 a.m., Hiroshima City announced the evacuation preparation information to some areas of Higashi Ward and Aki Ward, saying that there is a risk of landslides due to heavy rain.
Information that corresponds to alert level 3 out of the 5 alert levels calls for the elderly and people with disabilities to begin evacuation.
Information on evacuation preparation was issued in the Higashi Ward, along the seawall upstream from Shin-Naosuke Bridge in Otani River, in the Kamijyo area of 1-chome Fukuda, 3-chome, 4-chome, 7-chome, and 8-chome of Otani River. There are 226 people in 100 households.
In Aki Ward, there are 1,581 households with 3,515 people in Hataga Elementary School Ward, an area where the risk of landslides is high.
