Due to the heavy rain, automobile manufacturers' factories in Kyushu and Chugoku regions are moving to suspend production to ensure the safety of their employees.

Of these, Daihatsu Kyushu, a subsidiary of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., will suspend production at 3:00 pm on the 6th at a car factory in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture and a factory for making light car engines in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I decided to cancel the scheduled night shift.

Mazda also decided to stop production at its head office in Hiroshima Prefecture at noon on the 6th, at the factory in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture at 3:00 pm, and to cancel the scheduled night shift.

Both companies will consider the 7th production while looking at the weather.
