Typhoon No. 1 occurred 22:44 on May 12, offshore east of the Philippines
A typhoon No. 1 occurred on the eastern sea of the Philippines on the night of the 12th.
According to observations by the Japan Meteorological Agency, at 9 pm on the 12th, a tropical cyclone changed to Typhoon No. 1 in the sea east of the Philippines.
The central air pressure is 1002 hectopascals, the maximum wind speed near the center is 18 meters, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 25 meters. A strong wind with a wind speed of 15 meters or more blows within 280 kilometers northeast of the center and 220 kilometers southwest of the center.
The typhoon is traveling north at a slow speed, and the Meteorological Agency is calling attention to vessels passing by.
