The Reconstruction Agency announced that it will grant more than 65 billion yen in reconstruction grants to 21 municipalities in four prefectures, including Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima, to support projects in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We aim to complete all businesses by next year.

Of the reconstruction grants,
▽ 30.6 billion yen in sewerage maintenance projects including earthquake resistance of sewer pipes and installation of drainage pumps in Ishinomaki City and Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture,
▽ Issuance of 18.6 billion yen will be given to the project for the development of roads that connect urban areas with housing complexes and disaster-affected public housing in the cities of Ofunato, Iwate and Higashimatsushima, Miyagi.

In the new business, more than 600 million yen is included as a project to sort out the land, such as surveying the land raised in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture.

This is the 25th grant for reconstruction, and the total amount so far has been more than 3,290 billion yen. The Reconstruction Agency aims to complete all projects by the end of March next year, which is 10 years after the earthquake. It is said.
