Ten years ago, staff of special nursing homes who were involved in the debris flow in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and 12 residents died, acted as volunteers on the morning of 4th, toward the disaster area of Typhoon 19, Nagano City Departed.
Volunteer activities in Nagano City are a total of 8 people who participated from the staff of “Life Care Takasago”, a special nursing home for the elderly in Hofu City, and from all over Yamaguchi Prefecture.
This facility was involved in a debris flow in the heavy rain disaster that occurred in 2009, and 12 residents were killed, including disaster-related deaths. In order to give back the support we received at that time, we have dispatched staff to the affected areas such as the Kumamoto Earthquake and the West Japan heavy rain and volunteered.

Eight members including President Ueda boarded the car and left for Nagano City. The group is to stay on site until 9th of this month and remove the earth and sand that flows into the house.
