According to the JR East Chiba branch office, the JR Kururi Line running in Chiba Prefecture was unable to operate in the section between Kurisa Station and Kazusa Kameyama Station because of the inflow of earth and sand into the track due to heavy rain on the 25th of last month. After the restoration work was completed, the operation resumed on the entire line just after 5:50 pm on the first day after a heavy rain.
