The Hokuriku Shinkansen runs a special train around November and Saturday and Sunday, JR East October 29, 18:22

Regarding the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which has been operating at about 90% of the normal number of cars due to Typhoon No. 19, JR East revealed in November that it will operate temporary trains mainly on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Hokuriku Shinkansen was suspended in some sections due to the flooding of the Nagano Shinkansen Vehicle Center, etc., and resumed operation on all lines on October 25, but the number of operations decreased by 14 on the upper and lower lines. It is operating in nearly 90%.

Of these, the majority of those who reduced the number of drivers were Asama, which connects Tokyo and Nagano. In November, JR East decided to run a special Asama train mainly on Saturdays and Sundays when passengers increased.

Temporary trains vary from day to day, but up to 6 lines on the top and bottom lines.

On the other hand, “Hakutaka” connecting Tokyo and Kanazawa means that there will be four temporary trains on the upper and lower lines on November 2nd and 4th, which will be three consecutive holidays.

JR East says, “We have planned a special train centering on“ Asama, ”where the number of driving is greatly reduced. We want to return to the normal schedule as soon as possible.
