Chonan-cho in Chiba Prefecture announced an evacuation advisory for 555 households in 249 households living in the landslide disaster alert area at 8:52 am because of heavy rain that could cause landslide disasters. The information corresponding to level 4 out of the five alert levels calls for prompt evacuation of all members. Kyonan Town has four shelters in town.
