Automaker SUBARU has stopped operations at its plant in Gunma Prefecture, which produces cars from the afternoon of the 16th due to the impact of Typhoon No. 19.
This was because parts suppliers were unable to procure parts due to flooding and other damage.
The company is proceeding with recovery work and aims to resume operations on the 25th of this month.
