According to JR East, it is estimated that it will take about one month between Hitachi Daiko Station and Koriyama Station in Ibaraki Prefecture to complete the restoration work and resume operation.

Between the remaining Hitachi-Omiya Station and Hitachi-Oko Station, the damage is particularly severe, so there is no prospect of resuming operation so far.
