1 to 2 weeks for reopening the Hokuriku Shinkansen JR East October 15th 17:48

JR East announced that the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which has been waiting for driving at Nagano Station and Joetsu Myoko Station, is expected to take at least one to two weeks to resume the entire line.

However, even if driving at Tokyo and Kanazawa stations resumed, 120 cars, one third of all vehicles on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, were inundated at Nagano Prefecture's vehicle center. It is expected to be about 20%.
