According to the Fukushima River National Highway Office, Tohoku Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, it was confirmed that the Abukuma River was broken around 8am on the 14th in Hamao, Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture.

It seems that it was destroyed by heavy rain caused by Typhoon No.19, and the River National Highway Office will investigate the detailed situation and carry out restoration work.

In the Abukuma River, it was confirmed that water flowed over the embankment or cracked and leaked, but it was the first time that a break of the embankment was confirmed.
