According to the Kitakami River Downstream River Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Sendai Regional Meteorological Observatory, it announced at 10:30 pm that flooding occurred in the Yoshida River flowing through Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture.
The inundation occurred near Sannoseki, Tomiya City.
