Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture issued an evacuation order to 143,699 households and 340,205 people throughout the city at 10:00 pm as the risk of landslide disasters increased due to the heavy rain caused by Typhoon No. 19. Iwaki City has a special heavy rain warning, which is the highest of the five levels.
