A long-established restaurant in Hibiya Park in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo holds a charity curry event every year to support the disaster-affected areas.

On the 25th, a box for donations to Chiba Prefecture affected by Typhoon No. 15 was placed at the entrance of the store.

Visitors were able to taste curry in the box with the amount they wanted, such as coins and bills, as soon as the store opened.

A man in his 40s said, “I would like to help the people who were affected by the disaster in Chiba.”

Mr. Fumino Kosaka, President of Hibiya Matsumotoro, said, “I want to be happy with delicious curry, and I would like to deliver it to the disaster area a little.”

The collected donations are sent to the disaster management headquarters in Chiba Prefecture.
