According to Okinawa Electric Power, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 17, as of noon on the 21st, about 34,690 households in 30 prefectures in the prefecture have been out of power.

In municipalities, the number of power outages is the largest with approximately 4870 units in Uruma City, followed by approximately 4760 units in Nanjo City and approximately 4080 units in Naha City. Okinawa Electric Power is planning to carry out full-scale restoration work as soon as the storm has subsided, as outdoor work is dangerous.
