The Nakayoshi Auto Service, a car repair company in Tachibana-cho, Takeo City, has received a series of consultations such as “A submerged car has stopped moving” since the 28th of this month, when there was flood damage in a wide area.
This company has one mechanic working alone, and there are 14 cars that are scheduled to be inspected and repaired.
The mechanic was busy with checking the engine and removing water that had accumulated under the seat.
Mr. Yusuke Nakajima, the representative of the company, said, “We also provide a service for moving tow trucks, but it takes too much time to close the road and we cannot catch up.”
On top of that, he said, “If the car gets wet, it may break if you start the engine, so please call a specialist without moving as much as possible.”
