Human damage

So far, three people have died in Saga Prefecture and Fukuoka Prefecture, one is unconscious, and one is missing.

In Saga Prefecture, at around 4:30 am on the 29th, on the ground floor of a flooded house in Shiho Kitakata, Takeo City, a woman believed to live in this house was found dead. The police are checking the identity.

Also, in Takeo-cho, Takeo-shi, Saga Prefecture, a man was found in a cardiopulmonary arrest in a car washed away near the Takeo River on the 28th, and death was confirmed at the hospital.

On the other hand, in Fukuoka Prefecture, an 84-year-old man was rescued from a car suspected of falling into a waterway in Yame city Tachibana-cho on the 28th, after which death was confirmed.

In addition, in Mizugae, Saga City, a woman in her 70s was rescued and transported to the hospital, but she was unconscious.

In Takeo-cho, Takeo City, women in their 50s are unable to contact after they head from their homes to work in the city.

Flooding / Landslide

In addition to flood damage in Saga, Fukuoka, and Nagasaki prefectures due to heavy rains, there are also landslide disasters.

In Saga Prefecture, rainwater flowed into the ironworks in Omachi Town, and oil spilled into paddy fields around the factory.

At Juntendo Hospital, about 1 km downstream from the factory, the first floor of the building was flooded due to heavy rain. According to the hospital, there were 110 inpatients and 184 people in nursing care facilities on the premises. It means that you are evacuating to the 2nd and 3rd floors.

It means that electricity and gas can be used as usual.

In the vicinity of Takeo Junction of Nagasaki Expressway running in Saga Prefecture, the road is distorted and cracks occur, and the down line between Takeo Northern Interchange and Ureshino Interchange is closed.

In Fukuoka Prefecture, we found that the prefectural road along the river in Hoshino Village, Yame City, collapsed for about 50 meters due to the river's revetment.

In Nagasaki Prefecture, there was a landslide in Imafuku-cho, Matsuura City, two houses were partially damaged, and two warehouses were completely destroyed.

In Hirado City's Nakano Junior High School, the mountain behind the gymnasium collapsed, and earth and sand flowed into the school grounds, but the building was not damaged.
