According to Kiho-cho, there was no inundation of injuries or houses, but nearby rice fields were inundated.

In the morning of the Takaoka area of ​​the basin, local people were chased by cleaning rice straw scattered in the rice fields that had been harvested.

The irrigation channels around the rice fields were filled with rice straw so as to block the flow, and the rice straw that became heavy and contained water was scraped using farm tools.

A man from a farmer who was cleaning said, “The water was high enough to completely cover the rice field. I am relieved because no one was injured.”
