Wakayama Kumanogawa Motomiya Observatory at flood risk level on August 15 at 21:22
The Kumano River, flowing in the southern part of Wakayama Prefecture, exceeded the “flooding dangerous water level” at around 8:20 pm at the Motomiya Observatory in Tanabe City in the middle basin.
For this reason, Wakayama Prefecture and the Meteorological Observatory have issued “inundation risk information” and are calling for caution as the risk of inundation has increased.
