Wakayama Hidaka River reaches flooding water level on August 15 at 22:51
The Hidaka River flowing through the central part of Wakayama Prefecture exceeded the "Dangerous flood level" at around 10 pm at the Kawabe Observatory in the downstream area.
For this reason, Wakayama Prefecture and the Meteorological Observatory have issued “inundation risk information” and are calling for caution as the risk of flooding is increasing.
