Overflowing dangerous water level in Kumano River evacuation advice to 419 households Wakayama Shingu August 15 10:21

The Kumano River, which flows through Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture, exceeded the “flooding dangerous water level” at 9:20 am at the Nikko Observatory in the middle basin.

Wakayama Prefecture and the Meteorological Observatory have issued “inundation risk information” and are calling for caution as the risk of flooding is increasing.

Shingu City issued an evacuation advisory to 419 households and 819 people in the area.
