The AstraZeneca vaccine has not yet been approved for use in the United States.

On Tuesday, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, which oversees the drug's authorization process, expressed concern that AstraZeneca's drug tests in the United States have already been reported outdated, providing inaccurate information about the drug's effectiveness.

Authorities are asking the pharmaceutical company to provide more recent results as soon as possible.

AstraZeneca on Monday had time to announce that its drug tests in the United States found the coronary vaccine to fight coronary heart disease with 79 percent confidence.

AstraZeneca said it was ready to submit the results to the U.S. Health Administration for approval of the vaccine for emergency use.
