Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is inviting eight people as a result of the space company SpaceX's space flight to the moon, the BBC says.
Those interested can send him an application.
- I hope people from all sorts of backgrounds get involved, Maezwa said in a video posted on Twitter where he also shared a link to the application.
According to Mawzwa, applicants only need to meet two criteria: they must promote "any activity" in order to "help other people and society in some way."
In addition, they should be prepared to support other crew members with similar efforts.
According to selected lucky ones, the trip is free.
A space flight called DearMoon is scheduled to take place in 2023.
Maezwa was the first buyer of a private spaceflight.
The purchase price of the flight has not been announced, but according to SpaceX founder Elon Musk, it was a “large amount of money”.
This is not the first time Maezwa has made spectacular media outings before his hearing.
Last year, he released a series of documentaries designed to find him a new girlfriend to attend the audition.
Eventually, however, the billionaire changed his mind and canceled the program as a result of “conflicting” feelings.
Now it is possible to get more than just one companion on the trip.
