RIVM reports 4,217 new positive corona tests on Monday.
The number of new cases is roughly equal to the average of the past seven days (4,124).
The delays that had arisen in the GGD test streets in recent weeks due to the winter weather have now been made up, a spokesperson for umbrella organization GGD GHOR told NU.nl.
The winter weather prevented many people from getting tested.
Some test streets were also closed due to the sometimes extreme weather conditions.
The GGD test locations in the country had to catch up after these days, causing the daily number of positive tests to be considerably higher than the average.
These delays now no longer affect the daily figures, the spokesperson said.
NU.nl looks at the average of the past seven days, because this gives a better picture than the fluctuating daily figures.
A weekly overview with an explanation of the figures is given on Tuesday.
RIVM also reported 32 corona-related deaths on Monday.
This does not mean that these individuals have died in the past 24 hours.
There may be a delay between the date of death and the notification date.
The number of corona patients on the ICs has fluctuated between 500 and 550 for about two weeks.
