According to the National Institute for Health and Welfare, six new coronavirus-related deaths and 411 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Finland.

A total of 472 coronary deaths have now been reported. There are currently 268 people in hospital care, 34 of whom are in intensive care.

349 new infections were reported yesterday and 300 on Monday. 5,988 infections have been reported in two weeks, which is 41 more than in the previous two weeks.

The number of cases verified in two weeks has thus almost stopped growing.

However, the number of infections detected in the last week is still increasing.

A total of 3,138 coronary diagnoses have been diagnosed in seven days, 288 more than in the previous week.

The highest incidence rates are in the hospital districts of Helsinki and Uusimaa, Southwest Finland and Etelä-Savo.

The lowest figures are in the regions of Kainuu, Central Ostrobothnia and Eastern Savonia.

The incidence indicates the relative prevalence of cases in different areas.

It is measured as the number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants over the last two weeks.

A total of 31,870 coronavirus infections have been reported.

More than 2.2 million corona tests have been performed.
