A man who bought weapons used in the mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, the BBC reports.
Enrique Marquez, 28, acquired the assault rifles they used for the couple who killed 14 people, among other things.
He had lied about buying guns for himself.
In addition, she was involved with the married couple in planning two other terrorist attacks in 2011 and 2012. These attacks were never carried out.
According to Marquez’s defense, the couple had manipulated Marquez since he was a teenager and he didn’t understand where he was involved.
Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, attacked Farook’s workplace for a Christmas party in December 2015. The couple were killed in a shot-exchange with police after the attack.
Marquez's trial has been postponed on several occasions because he has tried unsuccessfully to change his previous statements to the authorities.
